Cars are also a good means of transportation in this city because parking isn't typically too problematic.

House buyers in Vancouver will appreciate that a general and a specialty grocery store is always only a rather short walk away. Over 350 supermarkets are located in the area, and the best variety can be found on streets like Victoria Drive. Additionally, Vancouver is a good place in which to eat out or go to a cafe. It is also convenient to access a variety of clothing stores on foot. As far as education is concerned, in this city, families will usually be able to reach schools and daycares on foot. Vancouver is home to some of the province's highest-ranked schools, including St George's School and York House School.

Vancouver is a fairly good city to buy a home in for those who prefer a relaxed atmosphere. Public green spaces are very easy to access, since getting to one from most properties for sale is very easy and there are over 250 parks nearby for residents to unwind in. The noise levels in this city are also low, as the streets tend to be peaceful - although that is not the case closer to one of the railway lines or Trans-Canada Highway.
